Was playing around with smaller f stops on my 500 as well as lower shutter speeds. Amazing how much more detail you can get when you stop down to f8. I used my monopod and shot at 1/200. Now I need to find some more exciting birds to shoot.

No doubt about it, lots of details indeed. I happen to think sparrows can be an exciting bird to take pictures :)
