white balance?

How do you guys set WB when using flash? I have an expodisc and I love it, but I'm starting to feel it might just be easier to use AWB w/ a gray card reference shot and fine tune in post.

I have a Whibal card and a Photovision target. Pick your tool.

I dial in the kelvin temp in camera.

For flash, I use the British Douglas Grey Card, and for wide-angle Lastolite Ezybalance 5ocm popup. The key is to have at least the centre zones filled by the reference, when setting in-camera.

Degrees Kelvin is old-school and not enough. Correction is usually key to colour casts - Green/Magenta and Blue/Amber.
