Caution: during the last eBay sale (through Big Value Inc.) several people received Canon 5D Mark IIIs with many of the accessories missing, to include the battery, eye-piece, instruction manuals, and warranty card. Additionally, some received a non-US charger, making it a dead giveaway that it was a grey-market camera. The grey market camera may not bother some, but I'm pretty certain that the missing accessories would bother everyone.

Other things to note:
Big Value has received a fair amount of negative feedback in the last 30 days.
They are owned and operated by the former owners of Broadway Photo, one of the worst bait-n-switch scam companies out there at one point in time.

More info can be found in the other thread on this same subject.

Would recommend reviewing https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1254997 before diving in. Certainly a number of people have received what they wanted. But not everyone. I for one am waiting for warranty card or additional followup. Consider me on the sidelines to leaving negative feedback.
For $2600 - you want to make sure your getting what you pay for!!

I didn't see any mention of USA warranty in the ad. Maybe I missed it.

It's listed with YMMV and "BigValueInc via Grey Recently Reported" notes before you click the on CPW. However, on the eBay description it indicates Canon USA warranty.

Great price, but that's some expensive dice to roll.

I went with $2879 at the imaging world on ebay with $68 in ebay bucks and $28 cash back from ebates at a total of $2783 and they are a canon dealer. Shipped it fast. Got it in 2 days. Its a kit without the lens but everything is there. For the $184 less from bigvalueinc it really not worth it to me. Stress kills. Last time I looked today there was 2-3 still available.

This is just wrong math. You will get ebay buck + ebates cash back buying from anyone in Ebay including bigvalueinc.

I wonder where they get all these cameras from. So far people have gotten USA kits with the lens removed, USA body only, and grey market

...and grey market cameras with critical items, such as the battery and eye-piece missing. You kind of need these things to use the camera.

My bad ,but I forgot to mention I payed with bill me later and you get 18 months to pay so its around $15 a month more than bigvalueinc. If I had to pay cash big value is tempting.

Sold out - odd that now the listing is closed the price is showing at 137 sold
Price:US $3,099.99 on the same e-bay listing that was $2599.

Still no word back from them as to the whereabouts of my US warranty card. Might soon be time to call Credit Card Co!
