Collection - Weavers of the World

Hi, what do you think of a topic for a grouping of birds? Example - this one for weavers of the World. If you have a good photo of one, then we can add them in. Would be interesting to see where they are and what they look like across the world.

This one: Johannesburg, South Africa.

Shot taken 1/1250 sec f /4.5, ISO 800. This guy is a Southern Masked Weaver. The male has the black on and below the face and has red eyes.

I watched this one building his nest. Wonder if the female is going to break it. If they don't like what the male did, they strip the nest.

Will see if I can get the female. There is a pair nesting in my yard and she is normally close to the nest.

Thanks, Rick. Here is the female - the sun was setting, but still above the horizon. She was coming back to the nest. Far les colourful than the male.
