Thanks for the heads up.
I had a bit of a hiccup there. Since I just joined FredMiranda as well. Over there you need to pay to up load photos.
I had a look at your www and I must say, you take some very nice hockey captures. I like your tight crops showcasing individual players.
I don't think I'll be putting much of my stuff up on here until I can at least get my captures as sharp as yours.
I'm shooting a 60D w 70-200 2.8 IS II, so there should be no excuse, except I'm no expert. I have been able to get my shots a lot brighter though by shooting a flash to the rafters. That old barn is pretty dark. I've read a few more ideas I'm going to try as well, such as turning off the IS. I always use a monopod. 1/250 at 1600, but also I'm usually in AUTO, as I've got a lot to learn about the 60D's capabilities. Setting the WB to 'tungston' also helped get a truer white for that particular building where I take most of my shots.
