I've tried several times, but this is definitely the best I've done. I was fortunate enough to see it perched over a creek while riding passenger over a small bridge that crossed the creek. I was able to lean out the window and take several shots without it flying off. Had I tried getting that close on foot, I have a hunch it would have left. Facebook
