This is the type of landscape i see every day out here in the country :)

A few years ago i thought "Landscape" meant you always have to take a landscape shot of scenery...but i thought a different approach and a portrait shot might be a little interesting?

Do you think this shot is cropped better like this? I was going to focus more on the 3 tree's and i did in another shot, but i felt the blue turning into yello's and oranges seemed a tad nicer...

I agree with your thought, but i think that there is a bit more blue than it should.
That is just MHO.

I really like this photo, gorgeous. Its hard to tell if its cropped well because its too big to fit on my screen, but from what I can tell it looks perfect.

I don't normally like portrait landscapes, but this one is just beautiful! I love the way the sky transitions from the orange to blue. Very pretty!

I think it's wonderful. I love the wide spectrum of color offered by including the upper sky and the dark horizon. Beautiful.

I would enjoy seeing your other shots/crops of this scene.

It works great with the trees because they are the main focus. I think the definition of "Landscape" photo is certainly open to interpretation :)...........Joe

beautiful colors, this kind of tree's always make me think of africa..?
You should resize to no more than 800 pixels wide or tall and use less jpeg compression, looks a little pixelated. Try setting the compression arround 80% (high), that should render a more smooth result.
Nice job.

Agree, this doesnt look too neat, little bit more sky would be better.
I like the picture overall though :-)
