Canon Selphy CP900 4x6 printer

I read that they do not support CF cards, they abandoned that support for some reason even though many of their cameras still use CF cards..go figure.

It has a usb port and I cannot get a direct answer from Canon or know anyone who has one.

What I need to know is can I plug a card reader into the usb port of the printer and use a CF card that way. If not I'll have to get an older model printer if I can find it.

My partner bought one for her parents the day before yesterday for printing snapshots of the grandkids etc. I'm almost certain they don't support CF cards, BUT, my GF has now been in labour for 22 hours so I have no access to it today/tomorrow. Shoot me a PM tomorrow or the day after to jog my memory, and I will confirm it for you no problem I will post the answer here for future searches on the topic..........

Ok sure will. Thanks. I do know it has no cf card slot but I wonder if I can plug a cf card in a card reader and attach that to the usb port on the printer and use the cf card directly that way.
