That's a good deal. Amazon had it for this about a month ago and I decided to buy it the day after it went back up $100.

Buydig (external link) is the best for we California folks. No tax, free overnight shipping. $1999.

Worth noting that the Amazon one comes with 2% rewards on top of it as well.

BH does too, but they offer free 2 day shipping while Amazon does 1 day shipping. I just need some things to sell and I'd be all over this right now. For me it's the worst time of the year for this deal to come around.

It is for most people, and that's why it's so cheap now. ;)

... That's not "cheap" at all. It's still much more than the old 70-200mm f/2.8 IS was.

In fairness though, it's better than the old 70-200 2.8 IS was.

Other lenses are also on sale at B&H and amazon. E.g., Canon 70-200 f4 (non-IS) is only 559$ with free shipping in US. (Or comes to 670$ all in when shipped to Ontario, Canada.)

6D (normal), 6D (full spectrum), Tamron 24-70 f2.8 VC, 135L, 70-200 f4L, 50mm f1.8 STM, Samyang 8mm fisheye, home studio, Fast Stacker
