I've got my 5dc to tether on a win7 64bit on xp mode and set Lightroom which is running on the the non virtual side to automatically scan the new photos that have been taken in the virtual environment. Works pretty well, a bit slow, but at least i have my 5dc tethering. Used it at a high school prom last school year without a hitch.

sorry for digging up an old thread, but how did you share the files between the VPC and host?
i set up a virtual drive which sat in the VPC as a network drive, every time the EOS utility tries to park an image in there it tells me the disc drive is full.
