Can someone answer the following question? Do these ETTL triggers act like my On board ETTL trigger and send a pulse of light or are they radio controlled?

I ask as i will use the 430 as the ETTL with a slave, but the slave will be activated by the pulse, this i don't want.

Website says 2.4Ghz, do i take this they are radio not pulse activated.

the Pixel Kings are Radio Triggers, they do not use the optical infrared system of your canon Speedlights.

The Kings will make the camera think you have your flash in the hotshoe and not off camera...giving you all the control as if you had the flash in the hotshoe..

Just to be clear, there are pulses of light that 60D's pop up or 580ex's transmit to signal the slaves to fire. This won't happen if you use radio triggers like the kings. However the slaves will still fire a second set of preflashes to determine the correct power for proper exposure via ETTL.

Thanks for all that, just tried the ETTL on camera, it will set my cheap slave off as we all know, now can the Pixel kings be used without ETTL?
