I have an idea.

When you are shipping multiple items, go to UPS/FedEx/USPS, and make a video of you opening the box indicating that everything is there and in good condition, then keep recording until the shipper takes the package from you.

It would be a huge PITA, but it would be nice to have proof to stop these scammers :P

... That is what is wrong with this world today.

People have been saying that for 8000 years.

I quit selling on Amazon. Buyer claimed I sent her a broken tripod. So far from the truth. Amazon sided with her.

You'd probably be thrown out, or attacked by the people behind you in line. And payment services won't accept it as proof of anything.

You know though, what wouldn't be a bad idea...would be video proof of delivery. Pain in the ass but hmmmm picture this:

1. Shipper comes to the door and scans item with barcode scanner.
2. That automatically activates a camera on the fedex (or ups or whatever) employee's shirt.
3. Video is taken of the person receiving the package, signing for it. That video is then automatically uploaded to server and pulls up when the shipper puts their delivery conf code in.

Course that only works for signature confirmation stuff, if stuff can just be left, then it doesn't really accomplish anything. ;p

Not much they can do unless the buyer has a record of such claims in Amazon .

Its a whole new world of theft out there folks beware.

The above was written as part of an attempt to waste time.

Another huge problem is when the employee activates the camera and records people inside the house behind the person signing the receipt...huge problem...lol.
