Neil Young @ TD Garden, Boston

this was my fourth time shooting Neil, and first w/ Crazy Horse...hell, it was over a dozen years since I've seen him play w/ that band...1996 when Soundgarden opened. wish I was taking photos back then.

anyway, during this year's festival dates shooters were able to shoot from one side of the pit, and i was looking forward to that. nope, soundboard. ack. making it more difficult was a large microphone stage prop w/ blowing ribbons, and overall really lousy light. not just the intensity, which was low, but the color blend was particularly atrocious. not my favorite shoot by far.

3...7 are nice moments, but lighting and/or background bring them down. Pity…

I think I like #6 and 7 best, but I think and would have concentrated a bit more on using the 300 w. 1.4x TC like in the last: Screw showing the rest of the band, since it won't work anyhow
Last is okay as far as background goes, but not a terribly exciting moment.
