One of the few nice days here in Scotland.
I saw the fluffy cotton like clouds reflecting on the loch and took the picture.
Thought to share it with you.

Beautiful, Dimitri.

Wish the skies looked like that here. It would make our snow covered mountains really breathtaking.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Great shot Dimitri, but I feel a bit like my head is hitting the ceiling though, seems very crowded in the top. Not sure if you cropped it that way or not, but if you've got any more sky to add, I would :) In particular that main cloud seems chopped off, kind of like cropping off fingers or arms in a portrait.

Love the reflection and detail of the foreground though - awesome!

KAC
P.S. it does seem to tilt a bit upward on the right side. :) May just be my imagination though.

Wow I love it, great composition and the exposure is perfect. How did you so much detail in the shadows, did you merge 2 photos?

I like it very much. Looks like a wonderful place to visit/photograph.

No Kenny i haven`t croped it at all, thats the original shot.

Love the reflection and detail of the foreground though - awesome!

Thats the reason you see less sky,i thought that including all that detail in the FG ,would make the shot look better.
The problem is,if the lens was slightly further up (for the sky),i would have the horizon slap bang in the middle and i always try to avoid that.

P.S. it does seem to tilt a bit upward on the right side. :) May just be my imagination though.

No,its not your imagination, but take another look of the shot.
You will notice that its going up the way on the left side too,(the actual ground not the image) and thats why i desided not to bother about it.

As always, your very constractive comments are very very welcome.;):)

No,i always shoot in raw,it gives you alot more flexibility to work on expossure/White balance/etc. before you convert to tiff or jpeg.

too much foreground for my palet id chop the bottom third i feel this would greatly improve the shot also the squint horizon really distracts from whats a nice scene
