Hello, Fellow Digitans!
I bought this Canon G6 back in 2004, NEW. I have taken real good care of it, but lately, the LCD screen held on by the two very small Phillips headed screws are becoming loose. I've tried to use a very, very small Phillips driver, the kind watch repair peeps use, but I can not unloosen either screw. Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? I'm a year past warranty.

In other words, while looking at the backside of the camera, with the LCD screen pulled out to the left, if you wiggle the screen UP and DOWN, I don't see how those two screws could possible tighten the screen itself.. I think it has to be done internally, some how.

I could very call CANON, but becuz it's out of warranty, they will only tell me like they have done before,to take it to an authorized canon repair shop. $$$$$$$ That's why I'm asking HERE. There has to be other eight year original owners of this G6 camera that has (had) similar issues. Thanks!
