Thanks Danny
They were shot with 4 AB's, all on the same end of the gym, 2 on each side. I hope that makes sense. Here are a few more. The last two have pretty harsh shadows because there was no way to bounce the light.

I always recommend that shooters seriously consider strobing basketball games. It is a great way to separate yourself from the crowd. It does take a little more time to set up lights/ speedlights and you have to adjust to a different way of shooting, but the results are worth it.

There is some great work in here... keep shooting everyone

Equipment list: Canon 1Dx, Canon 1D mk III, 50D, 400mm 2.8L, 70-200mm 2.8L, 17-40 4.0L, 24-105 4.0L IS, Sigma 15mm 2.8 FE, (2) 580EX II

I'm shooting my first games of the new year tomorrow night. Ben busy with other photo shoots.
It's homecoming, I'll post some more of mine when I get them ready.

This is very true!! Strobing totally changed the way my basketball photos look.
Well worth the extra effort.
I try to set up my strobes in every gym that I can.

Von, this is very true!
I feel comfortable in my home gym, but at other gyms it takes a little extra time to get the settings just right.
