Latest DNG Converter but CR2 files Greyed Out

OK, so I downloaded the latest version of the Adobe DNG Converter, which includes the S95. I have not used this before, but it seems pretty straightforward. I opened the program, went to the file containing my photos, and not only are the JPEG's greyed out, but the CR2 files are all greyed out also. I can't access any of them to convert them. Not sure what I am doing wrong here, but suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Apparently it will only open FOLDERS, not FILES. If I click on a folder, it will select the CR2 files from that folder. I have a MAC; I am not sure whether it works this way on a PC or not. Anyway, it seems to be working now.
