Okie dokie

I'm toying with selling my TS-E24II and using my TS-E17 on a crop body if needed. Primarily for real estate, architectural images.

I've not tried the crop 17 much at all, let alone enough to answer my own question.

Thoughts would be appreciated. The crop would be a 40D, not looking for huge prints.

Thanks and Happy Holidays

Hm, I see that the 17mm lens retails for $300 more than the 24mm, plus you would take a hit in the buying, selling and shipping.

How about picking up a used 5D and keeping the 24mm? Might be less hassle for similar functionality.

This depends on how much you rely on live view for composition with the tilt shift lens.

Hi JefreyG

I've got the TS-E17, TS-E24II, 40D, 5DII and 5DIII. Getting input from people that have or have had both and used the extensively on a crop can let me know it they felt the 17/crop combo had major enough issues to nix it.
