Trying out Topaz now. They have the 30 day trial, and I still have my Silver Efex trial for a few more days.

EDIT: Just worked on a few photos. Pretty sure I'm going to buy Topaz. Really easy to get the look I want, and it has quite a bit of options. Thanks for the help everyone!

+1 for Silver Efix Pro v2.

I've also used PS actions, some better than others. Control Points in the Nik software works well and is easy once you get the hang of it.

One thing to note is there are many discount codes available for Silver Efex. Usually offered by reviewers. Most knock 15% off.

I bought Topaz when they had a 40% off end of the year sale. I was able to get the look I wanted out of it, and for $36 you can't beat it.

I used Topaz for 2 days and had to buy it. It works very well with LR.

A word of advice when buying Nik products: DO NOT waste time or money buying a single product. Just bite the bullet and buy the full suite. You'll want all the other products soon enough and it's cheaper to get the suite than to buy them individually.

Also, like adammazza said it's easy to find a 10-15% discount code if you look around.
