I can't claim that I struggled through waist-deep snow in freezing conditions, because this shot was taken in N Norway in a zoo, which kindly opened specially for our group in mid winter.

It was very cold, however, and the foxes weren't the least bit tame.

I can't remember the lens I used for certain, but probably canon 100-400. Which is a favourite of mine.
