Why can we have some good, cheap products, but never others? I purchased a cheap CPL, and also some other cheap filters, NDG and I went out last evening and I thought stuff was looking good, because at least the glare was blocked and the pics on the lcd had that rich color. But when I got home and saw the pics on the screen, oh man, hardly any sharpness, colors just looked darkened and that's about it.

Just butt ugly pics, and now i want to toss all these cheap 10 dollar filters in the garbage. What a waste of money. At fifty years old I am still getting slapped in the face with this lesson, you simply cannot go cheap on certain things in life. It appears cheap, 10 dollar filters are near the top of the list. How much money will I continue to waste before I get this lesson in life? Now these filters might as well go in the garbage. I deleted all the pics taken with it, and I'll never put another one on any of my lenses.

Sorry for the rant.

Just go get a Marumi CPL. Great quality, fair price.

Yep. You can't put crap filters in front of a lens and expect good results.

I got talked into a cheap set when I bought my 40D years ago, and didn't know any better. But it didn't take long before I realized my mistake.

At least the filters were $10 filters and not $$$$$ filters that were junk quality!

I've found you generally get what you pay for.
