Hi there,

I recently purchased the Sigma 70-200 2.8 and finally got to use it in anger on my Canon 60d. We live in the countryside in Wales and at the bottom of our garden, there are plenty of birds around normally, but today just this little Robin come out! It is the first bird shot I have done EVER and it was a real buzz!

It was shot handheld too.

There is a large buzzard in the proximity of our home too so Im itching to get that on camera :)

thanks

And so it begins. I see longer lenses in your future. You're off to a great start, however; good for you.

you did a great job.
Try out a 1.4x tc or 2.0x tc on there and see if you can make due.
