The Squirrel kept going up and down the trunk and branches,
and then would venture up close for a look-see.
The Hawk, he couldn't care less and once in a while would look in the
squirrels' direction just to let him know that "I see you, just don't touch me"
I guess he doesn't like squirrel.
Today in NYC of all places.

Squirrel's are pretty bold. I seen one chase a cat around my front yard untill the cat escaped back into my neighbors house

I can see him telling the story of how he got to the "Squirrel Heaven" Pearly Gates one day.

"Yeah, St Peter, I am VERY brave. I once ran out on a branch that a hawk was sitting on, just to tease him". St Peter will say, "when did this happen?" The squirrel will reply "Oh, about 2 minutes ago!"
