Here is a dumb question I have almost 10,000 actuation's on my 450 XSI. How long before a new camera is needed for a casual shooter?

(Well maybe sometimes :P) Saving for a 60D prices have gone up over the last month or two. Got a lot of new glass and just don't want the thing to die on me before I have something else in hand. B&H has a body only 60D right now for $699.99 with free shipping and I ordered one local yesterday for $650.
