please post the images rather than have the viewer go round your gallery half a dozen times

I will not post images here. The size limits are too small, and I'm not going to save two different sizes of images just to post here. It's not my problem if you are so dam lazy you can't click the mouse a few times.

if The size limits are not to your satisfaction why bother - I did at least half a dozen clicks on your website and still did not see any Reno images
so out of common courtesy to save such hassles most reasonable people post to the forum
obviously not in your case
so I guess your the Lazy one who cant save a copy for the web at the same time

another point is how do you expect any kind of critique if your images are on your website.. or maybe you like the pat on the back saying how wonderful your images are and cant take any kind of critique

As others have mentioned, It also took me a while to find the links on your page to the various 2012 Reno galleries - and I'm an experienced web surfer :-) haha

But once I found them - great shots. BY FAR my fav is the Tigercat silhouette with the pink & orange sky - amazing...

I don't know what to say. This is the only forum that I have ever received any kind of feedback that people find it hard to click on links. I don't know how I can make it any simpler. You click on 2012 galleries, click National Championship Air Races, read the little blurb about this years races where it clearly says, Please enjoy the galleries BELOW, which to anybody with any common sense means click below!!

Chris if you can't find Reno images, then you can't read very well. Every year, from 2004-2012, on that years gallery page the word Reno appears, it's not that hard.

Just one person's observation, but I come HERE to view images and learn. I don't intend to go off to various other sites and go on a wild goose chase just to see something mentioned here. What would it be like if everyone posted that way? It defeats the purpose of bringing things together in one place.

Tim clearly does not 'get it'
people do not want to go round posters own websites searching and reading whatever tripe is posted
most folks come to look and learn - and to learn they need critique
by offering your entire website in every post what you do is making critique much harder
at least 4 or 5 different people in this thread have made some kind of comment about this yet you still dont accept that folks dont want 'trawl' looking for images you have taken

I politely asked you if you could post your images instead of all the viewers having to 'go looking' for them
and your response is I am Lazy and there is something wrong with my reading and I show no common sense
well I disagree and you show a total disregard or etiquette with your attitude
I suggest your not happy with the sizes on this forum go find somewhere that you ARE happy with

As I experienced same problem as a moderator, but was able to find the pics, then helped (I thought I was helping) explaining how to get there, I feel offended by your "anybody with common sense" comment.

"Allowed # of images:

You may embed **) maximum of eight (8) photos per thread. This means: you may embed up to 8 photos when you start a new thread. You may embed additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post. If photo size exceeds 1024x1024 box, you may not embed it: post a link (URL) to it instead."

My guess is by posting a link to his website, he was suggesting maybe he had more than 8 images he wanted to share and didn't want a mod to quote the rules and delete his images.

This is the same reason I have just about no interest in posting photos here. My hobby is photography, not forum surfing. I post images to a handful of websites, each has it's own rules for size and quality, writing the post, etc... and it turns out I spend 2 hours shooting, 3 hours editing, 2 hours posting, then 3-4 weeks reading or waiting for peoples' response - seems like muddied up priorities to me. Can people really not find the 4 seconds to quick reply "really like this", "lighten it a tad", "crop tighter"? My favorite is using one of my pictures as an example of what to do in response to another person's photo, then being told that I'm showing off, either with the equipment I have, the access I had, or the opportunity I had - um, sorry, guess I was worse at what I do.
