Hi Everyone,

This is my photo of Tehran during the evening taken from Milad Tower. It was taken with my Canon Powershot S95.

Nice! I had no idea that city was right up against the mountains, I always thought of it being out in the desert somewhere. Nice traffic jam too. :D

Nice shot! It is quite unusual to see shots of Tehran on this forum, interesting :)

Nice, not a part of the world we get to see photographed all that often.

Thank you everyone. :-) I am well chuffed! To be honest with you, I was very surprised at how it came out in the camera. I use a Canon Powershot S95. The only bit of editing I have done is to scale the image so then I can upload it to the Internet.

Iran has some absolutely fantastic scenery, it was a pity that I did not have a driver who would be willing to stop to let me take photos. I would recommend anyone who can go there to see the place when things have settled down. However, only use the green or yellow taxis there. If you have an friend who can speak Persian with you, then it will be so much better.

Thank you everyone. I will try and post more photos once I have converted the raw images into jpg and uploaded them. It could be Friday or Saturday when I post them. :-)
