I though you might enjoy this panorama that I grabbed free habd in the AirSpace Hall at the IWM Duxford earlier this year. Some bits have had to be cloned in to fill up the edges, otherwise there would have had to be far to much cropping. Six exposures from my 20D with 20-40mm f2.8 Sigma. I actually shot in Av mode ISO3200 at f5.0 for exposures of 1/50th and 1/60th. Shot RAW and processed in LR4.1/PSCS5. I think that LR did a very good job getting the brightness consistent across the varying exposures.

Well I had a look trying to spot everything, then had to cheat by looking at Duxford's list of aircraft, which is a bit wrong anyway. But I think you can see varying amounts of the following aircraft:

  • SEPECAT Jaguar GR1
  • BAe Harrier GR3
  • Short Sunderland MkV
  • Royal Aircraft Factory RE8
  • de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth
  • Fairey Swordfish Mk III (AKA TSR1)
  • Westland Lysander IIIA
  • Airspeed AS40 Oxford Mk 1
  • Avro Anson MkI
  • BAC TSR2
  • British Aircraft Corporation/Aerospatiale Concorde 101
  • Avro Vulcan B2
  • Avro 683 Lancaster Mk X
  • Handley Page Hastings C1A
  • Avro York C1
  • Avro Canada CF-100 Mk 4B
  • de Havilland DH 104 Dove 6
  • English Electric Canberra B2
  • English Electric Lightning Mk I
  • Vickers Viscount 701
  • Westland Whirlwind HAS7
  • Supermarine Spitfire F24 (Mk 24)
  • de Havilland Mosquito
