I was on my way to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge in Florida when I came across this big guy standing by the side of the road. He was no more than 10 feet away, as calm as could be as I snapped a few quick shots. 7D, 100-400L at 400mm, f/5.6, 1/320, ISO 400.

As always, C&C welcomed.

Wow, I have never seen a close up as close up as that! Great shot. Someone should tell him his orange eye clashes with his red cap!
