there is a whole bunch of wild horses that hang out along and around the Salt River just outside of Mesa Az - once in a while you can catch them in some good light - they are used to people so they don't spook real easy and you can approach just be careful of the cactus that is more of a problem - hope you enjoy - :)

You seem to be able to get closer to the wild ones than I can one of the little womans "project horses" hahahahaha he was abused (badly) by a former owner and dose not trust MEN, most women he is normal around though.

It's so nice to know that there are still wild horses in this country. Good job capturing them.

Really nice captures of one of the West's icons. KUDOS.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

You sure are getting around, Marcy :) These shots are great; love how the 'wild' comes out in their surroundings.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.
