I have a 60D with the EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens, which I'm happy with, but I'm also looking for a wider lens to shoot video with. I don't know whether I need a prime or zoom lens, but I'm sure I need lens with something between f/1.4-2.8.
Also, I don't have a lot of money on me, only a couple of hundred dollars.
What would you recommend?

Only a couple of hundred, eh? Not much choice there, at least with the wide aperture criteria. Even a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 is about $450. You could try to find a used Sigma 17-35mm f/2.8-4 lens. They usually sell for about $125 or so on Ebay.

Problem is: last sigma lens I bought had a problem with the 60D (I think it was the 20-75mm f/2.8), their zoom/aperture gets stuck.

Super easy : on fullframe 16-35 2.8L I or Tokina 16-28 2.8L (I had them all and just ordered the last one, on par with the world changing Nikon 14-24), all second hand offcourse, who wants to pay full price ;-D

On crop Tamron 17-50 2.8 as there are no fast 2.8 10mm-xx or 12mm-xx UWA lenses for crop.

Oh, my bad. Yeah it looks really great!
I think I'll keep my current lens for the while, and when I'll earn some more money I'll buy the Tamron.

It is an older lens. I believe it is the same as the Vivitar 10-35mm. I just looked B&H has one used for $89.

I'll be in B&H probably in April... Wish we had B&H in Israel. I'll try searching the local store, probably they have used...

EDIT: Got it right here! http://www.fotofilm.co.il …ategoryID=&ProductID=1008 (external link) But it's like 250$. Oh boy.
EDIT2: Says on the site it supports only Nikon.
