I was teaching a private lesson to another photographer yesterday and he brought his makeup artist as our "stand in" model.

I was teaching him various ways to shoot a one light evenly illuminated glamour headshot.

Damn! I love this makeup artist!

Very pretty and I like the lighting. Her pupils are large but it doesn't bother me at all. Can I assume that the room was fairly dark before the exposure?

Lovely shot but I agree, ambient light needed to be higher to get smaller pupils, show us those green irises. She is lovely.

Ditto

when covering the lower part of the face and looking at the eyes, I found the light in the eyes are too strong, just like two white dots shining...

otherwise are wonderful, especially the smile and her hairstyle! :D

Hope to learn photography well, to work out wonderful photo work!
Thank and HUG everyone who helps me! ;)

wow she has a perfect smile. Agree with all the comments about the pupils. At first glance, I thought they looked like a doll's eye, didn't know why at first then noticed the pupils are completely dilated. Not much of a problem, can almost guarantee normal clients won't notice but those in media will definitely see it
