We did an engagement shoot on the Eve of Guy Fawkes. So they brought along some sparklers, and we had some fun:

Set against Rangitoto Island, Auckland - a 600 year old, dormant volcano.

Cheers

Stunningly well executed. Talented "painter" with the sparkler to end up with such a symmetrical heart. If I was fortunate enough to call this one my own, the only thing I might try is to remove the painter (ghost) between them, but fantastic result nonetheless.

Agreed - very impressed with the 'painter' of this shot. Love the way the wind carries the sparks too - creates a dynamic feel.

Would you mind sharing what your exposure was for this shot? :)

Nicely executed, but I really dislike the pose here. They're too far apart, arms are in a weird position, and kiss seems forced.

Thanks for your comments!

I can see what you mean about the distance. Hadn't though of that, and we don't pose people much - just a little direction. In this case, her dress was pretty long, and she didn't want it dirtied before her wedding (was her evening gown). :)
