Got a shot of this bird today. According to pictures I have found on the internet, this is a pygmy nuthatch. Can anyone confirm this ID or is it some other species?

This one is a Brown Headed Nuthatch, cute little birds and nice shots. The Pygmy Nuthatches are out west. I would love to see one of these guys down this way.

I've seen the pygmy nuthatches at the Grand Canyon. We have the brownies here, but they are hard to catch. Nice job on this one.

Thanks. I was in my parents' backyard Christmas day when I got these. I knew it was a some type of nuthatch.
