Canon has officially discontinued the EOS 5D Mark II. Quite possibly the most popular and influential DSLR in history.
Some stock is still out there, but it won’t last for long.

Should I take the plunge and get one or hold out and get the MKIII when prices lower bit more? One thing that has struck me over the past year or so is that whenever I spot and image on here with that Wow factor, I look at the exif and 9 times out of 10 its a 5DII. If I don't make a decision soon, I may never get my hands on a new one.? Moin, I notice your signature contains 5DII as a wish, will you take the plunge or are you faced with the same dilemma as myself ? Yes, get one. It compliments the 7d nicely.

With it being such a good camera, do you think the price will drop or gradually increase a little as they will still be a sought after camera.
