I know this is a Canon site.. but for people that have been considering giving Nikon a shot, I don't think you're going to find much of a better deal.

I find some of the recent prices, both Canon and Nikon, are hard to believe! The D600 was originally priced at $2099, body only, a little over a year ago and look at this price today! Amazing!

It was announced at Photokina just this year.
