For what I have learn,
THIS LINK
cold be a very good option for the price (Under $30). On ebay, same or lesser number of LED lights are for almost twice the price. There are few varient of this on Amazon with different name but from what I see in picture they all seem to be the right thing.
I guess one won't go wrong with this one as reviewers are expressing. Important thing is to use the Camera batteries to power it rather than AA batteries (Such as Sony NP-FH70, NP-FM55H, NP-F550) and third party batteries with charger are really cheap these days. Light has variable intensity and seems very robostic and easy to use. I am thinking of trying that Amazon one.
I have that light you linked to. It's uncomfortably bright at full power...even half power up close. The diffuser helps. I mention this because you'll have to plan so it's not hurting your subject's eyes. I also bought 3 of the Sony camcorder batteries for $5/each. It's the way to go.
Now, how I use this light, is as a key light up close, but there is plenty of fill. It works well with diffused CFL bulbs. I use the 200W equivalent in cheapo $5 shop light/reflectors from Menards. The CFL's are 2700K so they mix well with existing tungsten, and I put the orange gel on the LED lamp.
Here is an example (lingerie, but not nude): http://www.flickr.com …8379521776/in/photostream
So...there are tons of ways to use these LED lamps. I'm glad I got it as it's incredibly versatile, and easy to mount on anything. I think with the high ISO capability of cameras these days, you'll be seeing more and more use for these lower powered LED lamps.
