Lovely shots, John. I especially like the first one.
Thanks Stan. I enjoyed being at the waterside taking them as it was nice and peaceful, and apart from the occasional car in the distance, the only sound was of the ice creaking and cracking - very atmospheric.

Cheers John, very useful info. I do have a car yeah, quite looking forwrd to the drive actually. Im about 2 mins from the start of the A82 so its gonna be difficult to get lost at least.
True! If you couldn't find your way with that start, maybe you should stay away from the wilderness!
I had actually intended doing some hillwalking as well yesterday and the car was loaded with rucksacks and ice-axes etc. My plan to take the chair-lift up Meall a' Bhuiridh and then walk over to Creise to get photos of Buchaille Etive Mhor, but as the lift was off, and there wasn't too much daylight left, my trip became purely photographic.
Just in case anyone is interested in the correct way to pronounce the Gaelic mountain names, a great site is http://www.munromagic.com
. Here is how to pronounce Meall a' Bhuiridh
(just click on the "pronounciation" link on that page).
