1D markIII lens choisce no flash

I will be going to a party and a flash just will not go over well. I have a 28 1.8, 50 1.4 24-105L and 17-40L I'm leaning towards the 50 1.4 as it is fast and not large in size.......Suggestions​? Thanks

Can't take them all? Or maybe two? The 28 and the 50?

Yes I can take them all but changing lens and bringing bag will be trouble some. I just have not shot much with the 1.3 crop. taking the 2 primes maybe the ticket.

Use the 28. I find a wider perspective useful at parties

Of the choices you've listed, the 28 for sure. The 50 will be too long for group shots.

I ended up loading everything, and. After many drinks I was asked if I had flash something wide to soot 42 folks , glad I brought the 5d and 17-40. Thanks for the advice. I used the 28 the most.
