Folks, I've used MS Paint to resize the pictures and the quality is not the same to the original size, but still would like to hear some opinions.

Thanks, Chancellor.

malla1962, thank you. I love the lens, push/pull ring tightening ring could have been positioned better, but other than that - perfecto.

I loved my 28-300 it was easy to use and good in bad weather. However had to let it go as in poor light with my 1DMk2 I found that I needed f2.8 so sold it and purchased a 24-70 and 70-200 with 1.4 & x2 TC... excellent but I miss the convenience of one lense for the range! Enjoy it. Nice shots by the way :)

The look good to me except the second one of your son, I'm assuming looks a little blurry but not an indication of a bad Lens ... probably technique ...

For sure use an application better than MS Paint for editing.

Bluedog_XT, thanks for the comments. Not my son, a kid from the neighborhood who kindly gave me his permission to take his picture.

On your note about the editing tool, I just purchased the CS2 and Macromedia suites. Hopefully between those two I'll find a tool that I can do easy cropping and some color adjustment.

Thanks for the comments.

I love CS2 for Post, but the program is huge I have been using several books to figure it out since 7.0. I like the books by Scott Kelby, they get to the points that will interest most of us the quickest. I have several guides from Adobe Press and those are really only for folks that want to know PS inside and out. However the "classroom in a book" series from Adobe press is very dry but it does hit the basics well.
