Baby pic - pls help me in editing!

Hi all, i took this picture of my niece after xmas. i used my 580 bounced as fill in.
i have done a bit of processing to the RAW file, namely levels and a bit of shadow contrast boosting. USM was also applied at 100; .5 setting.
i am attaching 2 pictures. top one is the original pic with no eye catchlight. number 2 pic, i decided to paint a white dot on her eyes as catchlight to add interest.
can you please let me know which one is better? and can anyone please help me in making this picture better?

i want to frame this and present this as a gift!:)

EDITING IS COMPULSORY TO HELP! ;)

if you need the raw file, i have it but saved as psd as i had to clone out a bad rash on her cheeks. just ask. thank you so much in advance!

ps - i have left out the water drop (drool) as i think it's cute...but if you think it's distracting, then please tell me.

here is my version, smaller catch lights. added a little blur to smooth the skin tone.

I grabbed the original pic that you posted to edit. I applied a bit of Smart Sharpen, di some levels and curves adjustments, added the catch lights, and used Noise Ninja to even out the skin tones.
