The Old Apple Tree

Wild Turkeys (but not the original sub-species) were re-introduced to Ontario nearly thirty years ago. They have been steadily expanding there distribution and can been found in many areas around greater Ottawa.

I found a few feeding in and under an old apple tree this morning.

Nice shot. I have never photographed a turkey, even though they can be seen out my back door.
