Went along to the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens (in Brisbane) this morning with a good friend after essentially a bit of a drought (couple of months

) from macro. After plenty of misses I managed to bag a few keepers which I am more than happy with. These were taken with a Canon 5D Mk III and a MPe 65mm (all around 2x from memory with cropping of the originals as well). Lighting was from a 580EXII with a Lumiquest soft box.
