Right shuteye time but before I go here is the lovely Barn Owl. PP'ing again used the Radial Filter and I think it was 4 off gradient filters to isolate and 'focus' on the bird but to still leave the beam it was sitting on as still there whilst ensuring the BG was fully thrown in the black.

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks Penel, I was quite pleased the way the image 'appeared' from the RAW file :D

Though the one of Juan Carlos is looking like the best I have ever posted to 500px :D

I am drawn to the feathers rather than the face on this one due to them being brighter, not sure if its your filters or the photo.

Hi Ian, I see what you mean. The head was in shadow so the feathers/body were 'better' lit. I will have another look and maybe lower the exposure on that area a tad???

My BiF were a darned mixed bunch but here is I hope a better Bald Eagle one.............not happy though with the noise the 7D gives me in the sky :( Granted it looks like film ISO 400 grain but NR in LR without making the eagle mushy is not too good! NB I cloned out the most obvious Jessie but the bit that was left looks more like a feather ;)

500px love here  http://500px.com/photo/40287720 (external link)
