Looking to attend in hopes of coming across album companies' promo prices. Not looking into going to any courses so the Expo itself should suffice right?
...or do I need to attend specific courses during the conference to take advantage of any album companies' promos?

You'll be fine just going to the expo. I spent about $500 last year and got all of the sample albums I'll need for the next couple of years as well as some lighting gear. You can find some amazing deals!

Last year I went to the whole expo since I got a free pass. I went to some courses and some were great (like Cliff Mautner) and others were... eh (like Becker). I ended up going to 5 of courses and felt I really only got something out of three of them, and one was just because I won a free Shootsac. The actual presentation was severely lacking.

Cool, that's what I hope to accomplish, grab those samples at nice prices.

Is it possible to check everything out in a day(10-4)?
I still punch a clock so I wanna be sure on how many days I need to request.

I find I need the second day myself. Day 1 is visiting the booths and then I go home and sort through the deals. I then figure out my budget and go back the next day to make my actual purchases. Also some places have different sales on different days and you may want to return on the last day or whatever to get those. Also, create a different email if you don't like getting a ton of emails. I win something each year which is awesome, but have to give up my email to do it. I don't personally mind the emails but others do.

And come see me at the NILMDTS booth! I hope to be there at least twice again this year.

Resurrecting this thread as I'm contemplating attending this year but just found my membership expired! Does anyone have any guest passes available? I can help offset your full registration costs.

This is just for the expo, I want to attend the competition judging which requires the full registration pass.
