Can you imaging, twenty or thirty years from now, when some of the kids of forum members ask their folks "Hey dad, do you have a picture of me in the sixth grade?"

Dad: "Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall? Indoors, outdoors, natural light, studio lighting, or candlelight?"

;)

What hour? Day clothes or PJs? Before or after your bath?

Not me. I was always bad for keeping pictorial records of my kids. Things are different now maybe because I'm away from the more than with them :(

I'm guilty for sure. But right now mostly my 2 year old daughter b/c my teen sons run when I have the camera in my hands. Rare to grab shots of them.

If mine are dumb enough to forget that they had a camera in their faces most of the time, I just say, "6th grade? Had we adopted you by then? I can't remember" :)

I have many beautiful shots of my grandaughter. Ihave many terrible shots of my grandson. I keep them anyway. Some day he will ask me why so many of pics of his sister are framed and I will show him how uncooperative he was when trying to take his picture. Wont look at the camera, wont smile, wont sit still ect, He is almost 3 and hyperactive and his sister is 15 months and a little angel who sits and smiles for the camera.
