Very nice! I heard bad things about this lens. Not being sharp wide open, inaccurate focus, etc. Notice the first shot is shot at f/1.6 and looks sharp to me.

What's your experience with this lens?

Thank you Hermelin. I've not noticed the softness wide open at all. I do notice some difficulty locking on with my T2i but only in extremely low light.

I do mostly portraiture and it has always been reliable with the exception of very, very low light. It was my first prime. If I ever let it go, it will be for a 50L but that would be the only reason. A true pleasure to use.
