Beautiful bird. They certainly do brighten up the winter! I have actually been able to get a few shots of a male and a female cardinal near my feeder. They generally don't hang around my area long enough to grab a camera.

This is a great shot. Clear bird and the blur of the snow shooting in the adds to it.

I think the parallel lines made up by the stick and snow trails add a lot to the picture. Even the bird seems to be leaning with the same direction as the blowing snow.

Oh, yes, the bird.... The color. THe detail. All perfect.
