Tonight, same ankle, same area, same pain - can hardly move it. Not a happy bunny :(

Stress fracture? I had one on my heal and it took forever to go away. Another option is planters fasciitis which is an inflammation of the nerve. I had a pair of shoes that irritated the nerve running up the back of my ankle and again, it took forever to go away.

Lightroom presets? Nah, not I.

Not sure what I did to my ankle last month but it hurt like a sob then cleared up after I noticed a bruise.

Tonight, same ankle, same area, same pain - can hardly move it. Not a happy bunny :(

Did ya do anything to it again? I'm well experienced with ankle injuries, unfortunately. I've torn all the tendons/ligaments/muscles on the outside of my left ankle. A slight twist can make it hurt again. Something as simple as stepping on something uneven, or cross legged on the floor too long can irritate it.

One of the main reasons why I wear 6" steel toed boots. They have the ankle support I need in a workplace full of things to step on.

I don't recall twisting it, or landing on it or even Alexander biting it.

I must have twisted it last month then just aggravated it again. Odd thing is I can walk on it perfectly fine, but the initial getting up and putting weight on it hurts and the resting it part hurts too. Bizarre!

Could be that my shoes are really worn down and my ankle took the shock through it when stepping on something hard! Time for new shoes anyhow...

That sounds exactly like planters fasciitis.

I've been there. It is weird when you can walk on it fine, but everything else hurts. Typically means you haven't hurt the bone.

Maybe your shoes are worn enough that you're not getting proper foot support anymore.

Have to say the Vello wireless shutter boss is impressive. Tested it in the house from the bathroom to the living room (4 walls in between) and it focus and shot. Worth every penny. Now i will be able to get shots of Mayra and I together in Italy this coming week :D

Nice, Dan, very nice. What is the location?

I don't know the default level of zoom this will link you to, but if you zoom in until you see a label for American Legion, this photo was taken directly above that marker on the map. Look to the left of the A marker....above Spencer Road, below Ithaca Road.

Of course, many were taking vacations and many others were working from home as well. The time between Thanksgiving and the new year is traditionally a slow time but this year there was a lot more activity than normal.

Will they recognize you?

Saturday evening as I arrived at work (we won't talk about Sunday evening ), I pulled into the parking structure, stopped, took my bag from the car's trunk and proceeded to walk toward the elevator/stairwell area when someone at the far (western) end of the parking structure called out "Hey, Lonnie! How ya doin'?"

I glanced over that way and saw two people standing near a parked car about 100 feet from me. They were both waving in my direction, so I waved back and said something like "Nice to see you!"

I have no clue who they were... Not a single solitary one. But, after nearly 30 years working at the same place, I'm used to it.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
