...I have no clue who they were... Not a single solitary one. But, after nearly 30 years working at the same place, I'm used to it.

I hate when that happens. I do a lot of work with remote people. Some of them I have worked with for years many times talking to them multiple times a day yet have never met them face to face. Before the holidays, I heard a voice in the cafe that I recognized yet when I scanned all the people, I didn't see anyone I knew. A total stranger walked up to me greeting me like along lost friend. After a few seconds, and when I concentrated only on the voice, I knew who it was. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I'm terrible with names. During my former career, I worked with thousands of people. Lots of them remembered my name....and I had no clue who they were. Made for a number of awkward moments.

Same here, but I'm pretty good with faces. I know that I know the person but can't remember their name.

I had the same problem. Lots of folks knew who I was because of my position, but I'd just talked to them on the phone or by email, and some times when I met them in person, it took me a minute to figure out who they were.

I wanted to name my kid Bob Owen and my last name starts with B. I told my wife it was win win if the kid wasn't to bright as his name would be Bob, his initials Bob and he could spell it backwards and it would still be Bob. She didn't buy into it with the same enthusiasm.

Wives, they just don't get it. When son #1 was born I wanted to name him Justin Tym but she nixed that. Wives just have no vision.
