I watched something saying I should do all my hard core exercising in the morning so that your metabolism is turned on high all day. I love to exercise at the gym at 8 or 9pm, I have access to any machine I want.

Start working the graveyard shift and that will be your morning...

Good luck.

I need to lose about 40 lbs. I just don't have won't-power. I always manage to lose about twenty, with good intentions of continuing to eat right and exercise, then I fall off the wagon :(

I could hear cicadas up until a couple years ago, but my upper frequency range is about shot now. Getting old sucks.

Edit. Man, I'm depressing myself. I'm gonna go out and try to photograph some hummingbirds...

I dropped about 90 pounds back in 2002. Unfortunately, in the past two or three years I've gained it all back. And then some...

I'm down 24 pounds since I retired, and I need to get rid of at least another 20 to make me happy, but 40 if I want to make my cardiologist happy.

Nah, workout when you can. If you workout a few days a week your metabolism will already been kicked up a notch all the time. :)

I'm "participating" in a Biggest Loser challenge at our gym, it's a 12 week challenge. I'm 7th in the top 10 on the mens side, was 9th after the 1st week. I'm not confident in tonight's weigh in though I did lose, I probably didn't meet my 4-1/2 pounds like the last 2 weeks.

Bike share program comes to NYC. Already the largest in the nation with 600 stations and 10,000 bikes. Waiting on my annual membership key as this will be better for cross town trips than the subway or bus :)

From my ride yesterday:

You could try the weight loss program I'm on right now. Down 7 lbs in 2 1/2 days. Works great!

There are a few downsides to the program though. You have to run a fever the whole time, you can't leave the house, and anything you try to eat will be seen again in short order. And your pay cheque shrinks right along with you.

Probably de-hydrated. ;) Get well soon.
